Shipping and Delivery Times

On the page of each item, an estimated shipping time is indicated, for example 4 to 6 weeks. Shipping is the period during which we send the product to our delivery partner. It is not the date on which your order will be delivered. You will find more information below about the delivery process and delivery times after shipment.

Delivery in the Room

Upstairs delivery is a longer process that requires the mobilization of at least two people with a special delivery network dedicated to large, bulky objects. 

The Process

Our delivery partner will contact you a few days before the delivery date. He will propose a delivery date and time slot that you will have to validate (or reschedule if this is not convenient for you).

The delivery for bulky products will be made in the room of your choice. For upstairs delivery, in order to avoid the cost of a second delivery or product return, we remind you that it is your responsibility to check that the items (dimensions available on their product page) can pass through the door and stairwell before validating your order.

TREATMENT PERIOD

Our delivery partner will contact you to arrange a delivery date within 7 to 10 working days* after your order has been dispatched.

Delivery at the bottom of the building

Your order will be shipped with a custom-made pallet, protected and filmed. It will be delivered to you at the bottom of your building.

Our delivery partner will contact you to agree on a delivery date within 3-4 working days* after your order has been dispatched.

Delivery charges

The standard delivery costs are largely subsidised by Balmaison and are based on the subtotal or/and the number of item(s) in your basket before discounts or reductions. The delivery price is then applied to your order. In case of a second delivery (absence on the day of delivery, inaccessibility of the flat,...) the standard rate of the carrier (without Balmaison subsidy) will be applied.

Delivery Services

Small items under €50

The delivery will take place within 2 working days following the shipment. On the day of delivery you will receive an SMS and an email informing you that the delivery will take place between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. If you are not available to receive the delivery, a delivery notice will be left and you will be able to collect your item(s) from a collection point nearby.

Please note: The delivery will be made in front of your home/building but the packaging is not removed by the carrier.

Small items over €50

Delivery will take place within 24 hours of shipment. You will be contacted by SMS and email the evening before delivery to inform you that the delivery will take place the next day. On the morning of the delivery, our delivery partner will notify you by SMS (at the number indicated at the time of order) to specify a one-hour time slot where the delivery will take place. You will have the option of rescheduling the delivery to a different date, having your order delivered to a neighbour or having it collected by a local collection point for collection.

Large furniture (e.g. sofas, beds, armchairs)

Our delivery partner will contact you a few days before the delivery date. He will propose a delivery date and time slot that you will have to validate (or reschedule if this is not convenient for you).

Delivery will be made to the room of your choice. For large items, our delivery partners cannot deliver beyond the 4th floor without a lift. To arrange delivery beyond this floor, please contact customer service. Please note that this service requires a party of two, which will incur additional delivery charges. Otherwise, deliveries will be made to the bottom of the building, or additional delivery charges may apply. Our carrier does not provide lifts, if your delivery requires a lift, the cost is your responsibility.

We remind you that it is your responsibility to check that the packaged items can pass through the door and stairwell before confirming your order.

Grouped delivery

Whenever possible, we offer you the possibility of grouping your items so that they are delivered at the same time. This option is possible:

  • If all items can be handled by the same carrier
  • If the manufacturing times do not differ too much

Premium Delivery Service

As stated above, standard delivery is based on a fixed price per item.

If you wish to opt for a premium delivery service, additional charges will be applied per delivery for this service.

Therefore, if you have chosen to group your order and it consists of three items, you will only pay an additional fee due to the premium service, only once (thus saving money).

If you have chosen not to bundle your order and you have multiple deliveries, you will pay an additional fee due to the premium service for each delivery. However, you can choose which items will be delivered via a premium service.
